The rate for out of county trips is $1.00 per mile from origin to destination. ![]() Same day service is an additional charge of $1.00 to the fare rate. Same day service is offered based on time and vehicle availability. Applications are available by contacting our office and supplying the necessary verification of age and/or disability.ĭrivers cannot make change. Reduced fares are also available through the Ohio Elderly & Disabled Transit Fare Program (E&D) for persons 65 years of age and above or disabled. We offer one general fare rate when traveling within Logan County. Some trips may be provided for you at no cost through Social Service, Title XX and Title III entitlement programs, or local county boards of developmental disabilities, for those who may qualify. The cost of the trip will vary with the distance that you choose to travel. If you are eligible to receive these services, please contact your SSA for more information. RTC Transportation also provides transportation to day programs and work for individuals eligible through a local county board of developmental disabilities. Infants and children under 3 years old and weighing less than 40 pounds must be secured in a child restraint seat provided by the parent/guardian children 4 through 7 years and who weigh 40 pounds or more and who are shorter than 57 inches must be in a booster seat provided and installed by a parent/guardian. All children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult. We provide transportation for children (under the age of 18) that must be arranged by a parent or legal guardian. Persons requiring such transport will be referred to the local Emergency Medical Service (EMS). We transport ambulatory (those capable of walking) and non-ambulatory (those in wheelchairs) but cannot transport emergency or semi-emergency passengers, or those requiring transport in a reclining position. We are a Door-to-Door Demand Response service offered to all citizens and visitors of Logan County regardless of age or income status. Out of county service (within 100- mile radius of Logan County) is offered on a limited basis based on driver and vehicle availability. Transportation is provided throughout Logan County. We can take someone to work, a doctor’s appointment, the grocery store, and much more! 68 South to U.S.RTC Transportation provides general public transportation service to all citizens and visitors of Logan County in a timely, courteous, and cost effective manner in order to improve their quality of life. 68 North to SR 638 to SR-274 West- SR 638 South to U.S. Crews will be repairing the railroad crossing. State Route 274 Railroad Crossing Closure – The railroad crossing will be closed between SR 117 and SR 638 starting Monday, June 5 to Friday, May 9. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Lane closures will be daily from 7:00 a.m. State Route 347 Pavement Project - Expect daily lane closures on SR 347 between County Road 154 and East Liberty Road from Monday, April 17 to Wednesday, May 31. 33 between SR 292 and SR 739 from Monday, April 10 to Wednesday, May 31. 33 Lane Closures - Expect multiple lane closures in each direction of U.S. 33 and SR 739 from Monday, April 17 to Saturday, July 1. State Route 347/State Route 287 Pavement Project - Expect daily lane closures on SR 347 between U.S. Crews will be completing pavement repairs. Traffic will be maintained with cones and flaggers. starting Monday, April 24 to Saturday, September 30.
